CalMame Privacy Policy

Effective: October 30, 2026

Kuromame Lab (“we”) handles your information in the calendar app CalMame (“the app”) as follows.

1. Information we receive and how we use it

• Email address: to confirm and show which account is signed in, and to count users.
• Calendar list and events: to show them, and to create, edit, delete, and move events when you ask.

The only permissions we request from Google are viewing and editing events (calendar.events), viewing and adding calendars to your calendar list (calendar.calendarlist), your email address, and sign-in confirmation (openid).

2. What we don’t do

• We don’t use your data for advertising, behavioral analytics, or AI training.
• We don’t sell or transfer your data to third parties (except the services in section 4 and when required by law).
• Your events go directly between your device and Google and never pass through our server.

3. Storage

• Your events are stored only in your Google Calendar.
• Sign-in information is encrypted and stored in a cookie on your device.
• Recent events and place suggestions are cached on your device and cleared when you sign out.
• Display settings are stored on your device and remain after you sign out.
• Our server keeps no logs.

4. Third-party services

• Google (Calendar API and sign-in)
• Google Maps (when you open a place on a map, the place text is sent to Google Maps)
• Google Fonts (to display text)
• Cloudflare (to serve the app and handle sign-in)

5. Google API user data

CalMame’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

6. Revoking access

You can revoke CalMame’s access at any time in your Google Account under “Third-party apps & services.” You can also use “Disconnect from Google” in the app’s settings, which also clears settings saved on your device.

8. Changes

We will announce changes on this page. This English version is a translation; if it differs from the Japanese version, the Japanese version prevails.
